Note from Team Fortune
2017-12-08Announcing Glenpark Row
2018-03-20With an under-construction townhome development overlooking the Shannon Lake Golf Course, the team behind Haven Villas seem to have scored a hole-in-one. The brainchild of siblings Trent Kitsch and Kelsey Ramsden, the recently sold out West Kelowna project features 12 luxury townhomes with private rooftop patios and stunning golf course views.
“The secret to the success of any project, whether it is designing a unique product or building someone’s future home, is to surround yourself with the right people,” shared Kitsch. Along with the Tommie award-winning team at the family-owned Kitsch Construction Corporation, the project involved industry leaders from Sticks and Stone Design Group who carefully curated the exterior and interior finishings for each home.
Reflecting on the process of bringing Haven Villas to fruition, Ramsden enthused, “For us, bringing this project to life has been a proud moment. Haven is the culmination of our vision for a contemporary living space close to nature, golf and amenities yet maintaining an exclusive feel, set apart by craftsmanship. We are thrilled to see owners moved in and loving their new homes.”
The Okanagan is increasingly becoming a sought-after location for real estate investment. The region has seen a jump in housing starts and high interest from both local and external development groups. Responsible for the sales and advertising of Haven Villas, Kelowna-based Fortune Marketing is already gearing up to represent another half dozen new projects this year. Specializing in the townhome and condo market, Fortune is currently working behind the scenes to launch sales centres for developments in Kelowna’s downtown core, the Glenmore and Rutland neighbourhoods, and in the Vernon area.
Fortune Marketing co-founder Don Warkentin commented on the local demand for residential real estate, noting that “Kelowna is one of the fastest growing cities in Canada, with thousands of residents relocating to and moving within the city each year. As entrepreneurialism – particularly within the tech sector – and new businesses continue to expand throughout the Okanagan, Kelowna is appealing to an increasingly younger demographic drawn to the lifestyle and relative affordability of homes in the region.”
