Project Coordinator

Position: Full-time

The Opportunity

Fortune Marketing of Kelowna, BC is looking for a permanent Project Coordinator to join our team.

This position is permanent full time. The successful candidate will be available approximately early to mid September 2018.

Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with the Fortune Marketing Sales & Marketing departments. You will represent Fortune Marketing in a client facing role that includes correspondence with project partners and vendors.

Project Coordination

  • Work closely with developers and vendors to ensure developments stay on track and on budget
  • Assist with event coordination and planning
  • Maintain filing systems, both electronic and on print
  • Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports
  • Attend meetings with prepared agendas and supporting documents
  • Submit developer and company expenses in an accurate and timely manner while logging
  • Source for suppliers, submit invoices and log accordingly

Marketing Coordination

  • Assist with content development, writing for websites and email marketing campaigns
  • Correspond with development team and Property Specialists as required
  • Participate in creating the marketing strategy, branding and product positioning for Fortune Marketing and its developments
  • Assist in updating signage and all marketing materials
  • Assist with updating online advertising, social media advertising and online company listings when required

Qualifications & Skills

  • Project Management or Marketing education and/or experience
  • Experience in the real estate industry
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Proficient skills in MS Office (word, excel)
  • Extremely reliable with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Loyal, honest with a positive attitude
  • Personable and friendly; goes out of their way to create an optimistic experience
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Desire to learn
  • Loves creativity and bringing forth new ideas
  • Adheres to procedures and key values
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Professional appearance
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s licence

  • Other duties as required
  • Must love dogs (seriously…we have an office dog!)

Nice To-Haves

  • Knowledge of WordPress
  • Experience with MailChimp
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud – Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Lasso and Intersoft for CRM
  • Social media marketing and SEO/Google Analytics experience
  • Knowledge of AdWords
